Conclusion

As the Internet presents itself as a medium, with which - in different accentuation - instrumental talents, cognitive fortune, social authority and emotional arrangement of the learner can be unfolded, for the work with the Internet the following emphasis crystallizes out of these four ranges:

common learning

 

common producing

 

common handling with media

 

common co-operation.

The Internet as medium for information and communication is difficult to exceed because of its range, topicality and speed without competition. Beyond it is because of its intercultural pacification effect and its friendliness a catalyst for up-to-date teaching and learning.

For humans without modern Internet-skills increasing ranges of the world knowledge remains inaccessible and hidden. This medium-supported form of working and learning is called as "computer literacy" and is considered - apart from letters, vintages and counting - already a fourth cultural technique.

 

It is a condition of our future cultural self understanding, the economic progress and the international communication of our societies and individual humans. Learning inside and with nets becomes the paradigm of the 21. century.
