We
believe that
Internet
and World Wide Web should not be seen as a passive tool which simply
delivers information, but as a dynamic and participatory medium which
promotes a unique style of learning that emphasizes resources, relationships
and exploration. The explosion of e-learning is revolutionising our
educational systems and creating new learning structures. As more and more
people gain access to education, technical developments will improve the
learning experience in and outside the classroom.
Cross-cultural
and
cross-border,
communication breaks down barriers and increases understanding between
ethnic groups within and among countries. New information tools can make
culture more open and accessible to all. As the use of Information
Technology increases we can see that there are thin lines between the
different fields in which we work.
