Description of course contents
NOTE: TIME OF EXPLANATION IS MAY 2001. ELECTRONIC LEARNING MEDIA IS IN PROGRESS AND THIS WILL BE TAKEN UNDER CONSIDERATION!. PREPARATION: THE PARTICIPANTS ARE ASKED TO FILL IN A QUESTIONNAIRE, IN WHICH THE INDIVIDUAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCES AND WELL-KNOWN TOOLS ARE ADOPTED. THEY HAVE TO DESCRIBE THEIR INSTITUTION AND THEIR OWN EXPERIENCES IN TERMS OF USING ELECTRONIC LEARNING (TOOLS, METHODS, APPLICATIONS ETC) THEY ARE INVITED TO COMMUNICATE IN AN MODERATED AND SHELTERED NEWSGROUP OF ESTA-BILDUNGSWERK AS PRE-WELCOME ONE WEEK BEFORE START OF COURSE. THEY ARE ASKED TO CHOOSE A TOPIC FOR THE EXPERIMENTAL GAME OBJECTIVES THE PARTICIPANTS SHALL LEARN, HOW TU USE ELECTRONIC LEARNING MEDIA FOR THE BENEFIT OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING. THEY GET PRACTICAL IMPACTS OF THE POSSIBILITIES AND LIMITS OF ELECTRONIC LEARNING MEDIA AND INTERNET-LEARNING MEDIA. THEY SHALL LEARN HOW TU USE STANDARD COMMUNICATION TOOLS AS NEWSGROUPS AND CHATS THEY LEARN HOW TO USE GROUPWARE TOOLS FOR OPEN-DISTANCE COOPERATIVE WORK. THEY ARE ABLE TO START AN EDUCATIONAL PROCESS AS AN TELE-TEACHER / TELE-TUTOR METHODOLGY: THE PARTICIPANTS ARE LEARNING ON THE SYSTEM DURING THE WHOLE WEEK. THEY WORK IN LECTURES AND DISCUSSIONS, IN TESTING SPACES AND IN OPEN SPACES IN THE INTERNET THEY ARE WORKING IN GUIDED TOURS IN INTERNETCAFES THEY WORK IN LEARNING-MODELS OF EXPERIMENTAL GAMES ; THEY WERE SPLIT INTO SMALL GROUPS OF LERNING- AND TEACHING ENTITIES. OUTCOMES THEY WILL HAVE CONRETE ONLINE-MATERIALS FOR IMPROVING THEIR OWN EDUCATION AND TRAINING THEY WILL KNOW THE DECISION-MAKING CRITERIA FOR AN INTRODUCTION OF ELECTRONIC LEARNING MEDIA. THEY CAN USE THE ESTABLISHED TOOLS IN ELECTRONIC LEARNING MEDIA. THEY KNOW HOW TO ACT AS AN TELE-TEACHER IN AN EDUCATIONAL PROCESS. THEY MAKE OWN EXPERIENCES IN ELECTRONIC LEARNING PROCESSES. THEY STARTED AN PARTNERSHIP OF EXCHANGES ABOUT ELECTRONIC LEARNING MEDIA AND MATERIAL FOLLOW UP MODERATED NEWSGROUP INFORMATION AND INTERACTION FOR ABOUT 3 MONTH

PRESENTATION OF EXPERIENCES AND USED MEDIA MULTIMEDIA IN LEARNING SPACE SENSE OF MULTIMEDIA, POSSIBILITIES OF USE., LIMITS OF USE IN TERMS OF PAEDAGOGICAL TARGETS. DAY 2 (TECHNOLOGIES, E-LEARNING AND LEARNING DESIGN) INTRODUCTION IN E-LEARNING PAEDAGOGICAL APPROACHES DIDACTICAL DESIGNS IN E-LEARNING E-LEARNING: NEW MEDIA OR NEW PROBLEMS EXAMPLES OF EXISTING TOOLS AND WEB-SITES IN EUROPE AND THE U.S.A. INTERNATIONAL ONLINE-DEBATES: LOG-IN DAY 3 (E-LEARNING AND METHODOLOGICAL IMPACTS) E-LEARNING IN EDUCATION, ADULT EDUCATION AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING E-LEARNING IN DIFFERENT TARGET GROUPS PASSIVE AND ACTIVE USE OF MULTIMEDIA AND ONLINE-LEARNING PRODUCTS AND SOLUTIONS: COMMERCIAL AND NON-COMMERCIAL INTERNATIONAL ONLINE-DEABTES: LOG-IN.
